He also has a special interest in haemorrhoidal disease, faecal incontinence, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and surgery for pilonidal sinus.
Mr Titu is currently the Chair of the Cheshire and Merseyside Colorectal Cancer Clinical Network Group, responsible for developing and promoting colorectal cancer care within the region.

He has significant experience with robotic rectal cancer surgery, having already completed over 40 such procedures. He constantly audits his results and is encouraged by the fact that his complication rates are consistently well below the national average for all procedures performed. This is reflected in a short inpatient hospital stay and earlier return to work and normal activities for his patients.
Mr Titu is a member of the following associations:
Association of Coloproctology of Great Britain and Ireland
The Pelvic Floor Society
European Society of Coloproctology
The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh
British Medical Association
